The Family Governance Operating System

Your portfolio has a policy statement.

Your family office doesn’t.

Vestry is the Family Governance Operating System for family office principals and SMSF trustees managing $1M–$50M across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States — Australia-first — the structure, records, and discipline of a well-run family office, owned by the principal. It records, structures, retrieves, and reminds. It never recommends.

✦ Founding cohort · Founding window — open for the first 90 days

USD $199/month

Billed in US dollars · Australian GST included and itemised on every invoice

Start free. No card required.

Five briefings free, run whenever you like, while you build your family's record. A subscription lifts the limit and starts the rhythm — the Monday brief and the Friday close, arriving on their own.

No lock-in · No percentage of your assets — a flat subscription, never a share of what you hold · Charged in USD; your bank converts at its rate · Available to principals and SMSF trustees across AU, SG, HK and US · Australian SMSFs can generally deduct the subscription as a fund administration expense; elsewhere deductibility depends on your structure — ask your tax adviser

Does this sound familiar?

If you manage wealth across multiple entities and jurisdictions — or run an SMSF without institutional-grade infrastructure — it probably does.

No single picture

Your wealth sits across multiple banks, brokers, trusts, and properties. Getting a real number takes half a day — if it happens at all.

Governance gaps

Family constitution, investment policy, succession plan — the documents that protect multigenerational wealth — are either missing or unreviewed for years. SMSF trustees face the same obligation under the SIS Act.

Adviser fragmentation

Your tax adviser, lawyer, financial planner, and accountant each hold a piece. Nobody coordinates the whole picture. You do — manually.

Research without structure

You have conviction in your positions. But your thesis, your reasons, and what would change your mind live in your head — undocumented, unreviewed, and invisible to the advisers who could help.

You are a client, not an owner

Every platform is built for your adviser. You request reports. You wait. It does not have to work that way.

Every other platform is built for your adviser.

This one is built for you.

Every other platform

  • Adviser logs in to manage your data
  • You request reports and wait
  • Governance is absent or an afterthought
  • Built for US regulations and portfolios
  • You are a client, not an owner
  • Priced for institutions ($50K–$250K/year)

Vestry

  • You log in. You own the view.
  • You run the briefings, on demand
  • Governance is a core module, not optional
  • Built for APAC and the US — AU, SG, HK, US from day one
  • You are the principal. The platform reflects that.
  • Flat monthly fee. No percentage of your assets — a flat subscription, never a share of what you hold.
  • SMSF-ready — investment strategy, governance, and compliance in one place

Six capabilities. One platform.

You in control.

01

Net worth — not gross assets

Every asset across every entity, currency, and jurisdiction, minus every debt held against them — including a facility secured over two properties at once. Most tools show you what you hold. This shows you what you own. Readable in 90 seconds on your phone.

02

Decision discipline — on the record

Document your thesis in your own words. Register what would change your mind. Set your own review cadence. Your decisions trace to your framework — not the latest headline.

03

Governance — actually completed

Investment Policy Statement. Family Constitution. SMSF investment strategy. Guided builders that turn your own answers into a document, labelled for professional review. Wills, powers of attorney and deeds are never drafted here — those are your solicitor’s work, and Vestry registers, monitors and prepares them instead.

04

Advisers — finally coordinated

Each adviser sees exactly what they need — nothing more. You control access. Always.

05

Regulatory changes — caught early

Monitors ASIC, ATO, MAS, HKMA, SEC, and IRS for regulatory changes that affect your structure and jurisdiction profile.

06

Real assets — tracked properly

Physical gold, PE fund commitments, direct property with CGT flags. First-class, not afterthoughts.

Your will has not changed since 2019.

Eleven things about your family have.

What has changed since you last acted

Vestry records when each document was signed, then reports what has been recorded since — entities formed, property acquired, a review date passed, residence changed. Facts only, dated, with the conclusion left to your solicitor. Your adviser cannot do this: they see one slice, on the day you ask.

The gaps find you

The checklist is derived from your own structure, not from a template. A minor child produces a guardian item. An expired binding nomination is critical. A document nobody can locate is functionally missing, and an executor nobody can reach is a problem discovered late. Ordered by consequence — never alphabetically.

The question goes out. The answer comes back.

A gap becomes a question, the question goes to the accountant or solicitor you have already invited, and their reply is recorded against it. Several questions travel as one message rather than six separate emails. You arrive prepared — and leave with the answer on the record.

The vault holds copies only — never an original. Vestry records where the original is kept and who holds it, because that is what an executor actually needs and what almost nobody writes down.

Built for SMSF trustees too.

620,000 SMSFs. $900 billion in assets. Almost no institutional-grade infrastructure.

Your SIS Act obligation — structured

SMSF trustees are legally required to maintain a documented investment strategy. Vestry's guided builder produces an investment strategy template structured around the matters the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 requires trustees to address — completed in your words, its review dates monitored, and taken to your SMSF accountant for review and adoption.

Governance that protects the fund

Binding death benefit nominations, succession planning, trustee succession frameworks, and family governance documentation — the structures that protect your SMSF across generations. Vestry surfaces what is missing and helps you close the gap.

Investment discipline at the principal level

Keep a documented thesis for every SMSF position. See your recorded holdings beside your own stated strategy. Catch regulatory changes from the ATO and APRA relevant to your fund's structure — surfaced early, with sources.

"The average SMSF trustee manages AUD $1.3 million in retirement assets with the same tools as a retail investor. Vestry gives them the infrastructure that was previously only available to family offices ten times larger."

Vestry — built for a family, shared with every family.

Subscription fees may be tax-deductible against SMSF fund income. Consult your accountant.

Shaped by a real family office.

Not a fintech startup writing for a market it only reads about. Vestry was built inside the Pineda Family Office — first as the working governance practice of one family, then as a platform, once the discipline had proved itself over enough years to be worth sharing. Every capability began as a document, a register or a rhythm the family actually ran: the governance apparatus only the ultra-wealthy could previously afford, now available whether you hold $1 million or $50 million, so your next generation is protected.

33 years in technology

Including 18 years at Microsoft as Data Leader, Australia & New Zealand.

12 years managing the family office

Active portfolio management since 2014 — commodities, APAC equities, AI-themed assets.

First user, hardest critic

Every feature is run inside the Pineda Family Office before it reaches you. If it does not survive the family’s own weekly cadence, it does not ship.

“A platform like this cannot be designed for a market you only read about. It has to solve the problems a principal actually lives with — every day. That is the perspective I bring to it.”
Fazil Pineda is the founder of Vestry, built from within the Pineda Family Office. The frameworks behind it are published at pinedafamily.com.

  • Start free, no card. Five briefings, run whenever you like. After the fifth the account pauses until you subscribe — nothing is deleted, your records are exactly where you left them, you can export them at any time, and paying restores everything immediately.
  • Founding membership — USD $199/month, GST included and itemised. The founding window is open for the first 90 days — join inside it and you keep the founding rate, with the founder personally.
  • Your feedback shapes the roadmap — direct access to the founding team
  • Available to principals and SMSF trustees across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States
  • Subscription fees may be tax-deductible depending on your structure and jurisdiction — ask your tax adviser. SMSFs can generally deduct it as a fund administration expense; for individuals it varies, and sometimes the answer is no.

Is the subscription tax-deductible?

It depends on your structure and circumstances. In Australia, SMSFs can generally deduct it as a fund administration expense; for individuals, and for families in the United States, Singapore or Hong Kong, deductibility varies with how you hold your wealth — and in some cases the answer is simply no. Ask your tax adviser or accountant. Nothing on this site is tax advice.
